BC Restaurant and Foodservices Association
The mission of the BCRFA is to make restaurateurs in BC successful.
Our specific focus is in four key areas:
- To be the resource for all issues related to the BC restaurant & foodservice industry
- To develop initiatives and programs that will result in higher revenue for our members
- To increase consumer awareness & promote industry growth
- To be proactive leaders in government advocacy
The Association is a representative body of restaurateurs, foodservice retailers, suppliers and educators. In a free enterprise atmosphere, we enhance the image and integrity of the Industry through positive communications, education and the promotion of operating standards that encourage excellence. We are the industry's voice with government. With over 25 years of leadership, the BC Restaurant & Foodservices Association (BCRFA) is the foremost advocate and resource for our industry, ensuring long term dynamic growth within BC.
The BCRFA is working toward helping the industry with what they need most: patrons. Our vision is to promote our industry to the guest; we want to encourage people to dine out in restaurants across the province, throughout the year. With the backing of the government, we look to being a driving force in improving BC’s tourism economy, working towards 2010. The stronger our membership, the stronger the support we receive from both industry suppliers and the government in our drive to lower operating costs for restaurants and increase the frequency of people dining out.
